Praise and Worship team Prayer Meeting

Whoa! Tiring day today. Screwed up day, but then it turned into a blessed day! Amen! God works differently everytime I have a problem. Thank GOD HE is always there to forgive my sins and giving chance after chance to renew my convenant with HIM again. So yeah, woke up at ten today (I offed the alarm clck when it rang at 9), and yeah, when I was about to brush my teeth, I recieved a phone call from Sister Kim about my shirt design. Yeah, some minor adjustments needed to be done and all. That's not the screwed up part. The screwed up part where I didn't submit Kimmy's design last night! I can't find her file. GaH! Long story short, I suck. Yes, I'm somehow, a backstabber. I don't know.. I seriously wasn't planning to do that... Sigh... Made me feel down and all... and yeah, I take the blame for it.. Sorry KIMMY!!!! Yeah, whole day was BS Crap for me... But then, something cheered me up... It's not Mei Yen or friends or the internet. Ladies and gentlemen, it's God... Amen! Through this evenings prayer meeting with the praise and worship teams for the GY Camp, yeah, I threw all my problems away... I didn't do it on purpose.. And I was honest with Kimmy... So yeah, I told GOD, forgive me LORD! CHANGE ME!!!! And yeah, I'm a changed person... It might take some time to show you guys that I've changed but yeah, in me, I know the difference. And before the prayer meeting, we had our Camp Song practise, it was awesome! Yeah! And in that time, I realised, hey, I'm a freaking human. I'm not perfect... I'm not a god.. There's only ONE and ONLY LIVING GOD! Amen! So yeah, laid it down on GOD's feet, and will start a new person. A fresh human being for GOD! After this prayer meeting, I hope that I'll gain confidence to start my day again. All Glory goes to GOD. Amen.

Another Year Again

Argh! Another year as a group leader in GY Camp. Gonna get busy soon. Hahah! The other Group Leaders have already chosen their group name. I've yet to confirm with mine. The name of your group needs to to go according to this year's verse, Matthew 4:19 - "Come follow me, and I'll make you firshers of men". Can't think of anything... So yeah, something came up in my mind. Haha! Mat Pancing! Woohoo! Hahah! Something different in camp. People (including me) always translate their group name into foreign languages and stuff like that, so, I decided, since Mat Rempits are so famous in MAlaysia, why not have that blend into my group name? So yeah, direct translation from Fisher's of Men, I got MAT PANCING! Hahah!

Then yeah, I thought about my group's name tag.. Hmmm, how to blend Mat Rempit into Mat Pancing? Then yeah, I got an idea! Woohoo! It'll be a biker on a motorbike, with a fishing rod in his hands! Wooohooo!!!!!! Hahah! Gonna start drawing soon. Then I'll alter it by making it 3D-ish. Hahah! Thank God for the darn good idea!

But one thing I've yet to think of is, for the skit. Ouch! I'll leave that to my assistant then =P. Not sure who's it gonna be. All I know it's gonna be a girl. Haha! And I'm freaking out now! This year, in every group I lead, my group always gets third (and in Pow Wow I got second last/third). So yeah, scared I can't be succesful this year like last year =P. Haha! Brian Chow and Wei Loong was like, "Now you got no competitor edi, go win". Hahah! Difficult man. Well, I hope I'll enjoy in this camp and hope for HIS touch!

Parents' 25th Wedding Annivesary

Muahah! Yes people, today's (technically, yesterday) was my parents' 25th Wedding Annivesary. Woohoo! But on the 26th we had a small gathering in my house. A dinner for my parents' all buddies. Them people who were with them during the wedding. Yeah, mum cooked, and I had to moped the house after the gathering. Hahah! Nothing much though, here are some pictures:

Alright, that was on the 26th. So yeah, last night, we went out for supper with Ps. Ronald Ooi and his wife, Ps. Jasmine (not sure Pastor or not). Yeah, we ate together and all. Very priviledged to go out with Ps. Ronald. He'll be preaching in this year's GY Camp. Woohoo! Awesome guy! That's about it. Haha! God bless my parents!

Hillsong United!

Woohoo! On the 24th of November 2006, in SIBKL (it's a church, I don't know what does it stands for) there was a concert, wait, a HILLSONG UNITED concert! Weeeee! For those who does not know what's Hillsong United, it's a youth band of Hillsong church. Simple =). They're a Christian band. Okay, I got my ticket straight from SIBKL. Thanks to Miss Sharmane (my senior from my school, she graduated edi). I bought them tickets (one for Bernie) for RM10 each! That's half the price of the ticket! Weeeee! Haha! Thank you Sharmane =). So yeah, after last day of VBS, I followed the bus chartered by my church to SIB. Cost RM10 so yeah, no difference =P. Haha! Bernie followed aswell. Reached there around 6.30pm I guess. Then waited for ticket at the ground floor. Sharmane was having a dinner. Then at around 7.15pm, she came and passed us the tickets. The ushers asked us to use the stairs instead of the lifts, not sure why. The line was long! Freaking long! Haha! But yeah, I manage to get in with my youth group after we seperated to wait for the tickets. My ticket number was 0099 =P. My favourite number! Weee! 99!!!!!! Muaha! But didn't take picture of the tickets. Wait, didn't take picture at all! They didn't allow any pictures, audio and video recordings in that place! Yerrr, what a waste! But LArry caught some awesome clips. Will rip from gyFM as soon as he uploads everything on it =P. Had an awesome time praising the Lord! United played more than 10 songs that night. And yes, the phrase: "You guys didn't come here for a concert, you guys came here to worship the LORD!" really fired me up when Joel Houston (the band lead vocals) said that. The concert was awesome. The lightings are great! Very big church. Their Main hall is something like a cinema! Hahaha! Seriously, their sound system rocks too!

Alright, the drummer is alright. He outgrew the whole drumset! Haha! Them band members like giants like that! HAha! Overall performance, awesome! Love their intro video: ".... True Worshippers, because, that's what our Father is looking for". Touched me a lot!

And yeah, I did the whole opposite supporting thing again. Wait! I forgot to write on Planetshakers Malaysia's - Fire It Up! Arrr! Will do it later! Grrr... Anyways, yeah, I was screaming Planetshakers rock the whole way! Haha! Even their encore I shouted "MAJESTY!" (a Planetshaker song). Haha! Then I did the same aswell in Fire It Up... Shouted United!! Haha! Anyways, enjoyed praising the Lord. And yeah, I hope this year's Youth camp, praise and worship session, can be like that too. Very awesome stuff =P.

Vacation Bible School 2006

Alright, from the 21st of November 2006 till 24th of November 2006, we had our VBS this year. I volunteered to help. And yes, never regreted every second in this event! I had fun, so as the kids too =). This year's VBS matured me in a way and taught me stuff that I can apply in my life. Hope it impacted the children aswell!

21st of November 2006

Woke up early for Praise and Worship practise. I'm playing guitar this year (shocked eh?). The practise was at 7.30am. Then 9.00am we opened them registration counters where the students (children) will find out which team they belong to for the next 4 days =P. We have five groups this year, due to the large amount of students. The team are Ray (I'm in this team), Cody, Spike, Pablo and Rosa. Here the them mascots:

Then we went to our stations. There are four stations, Interactive Learning, Craft Station, Food Craft, and Adventure Station (my personal favourite). But on the first day, we had photography first so yeah, kids delayed us all. HAha!

22nd of November 2006

Pretty much the same on the first day. But this time practise was at 8am. Kinda alright for this day. Everything went well and all. Nothing much! HahA!


This is Eunice and I. Another cute (more like pretty) girl. Very quiet but opened. She didn't come for the next two days. Similar like last year. I think she has been in the same group with me for like, 3 years edi. HAhah! God bless her.

23rd of November 2006

Woohoo! We went to the Water PArk in Shah Alam. No Praise and Worship on this day. Left church at 10.30am for Water Park. We chartered like, I think, 5 buses, then Ps. Ronald Teo and somebody else drove a van. Forgot. Yeah, here's the number plate of the bus my group was in:


Haha! It's like, MAD FOR 666! Hahahah! So contrast from this blog's title =P.

Reached the place around, 11.15am I think. Then we went to our usual "base". Yes, haha, we always book that one certain place where we can gather the kids and all. So yeah, started renting them tubes and all. I couldn't get into the water until it was 11.45am or something. Was busy helping the kids renting tubes! Haha! Then after that had fun and all. About 12 something, we had lunch. And yeah, the helpers "smuggled" food into the park because we wanted to cut cost a bit =P. Haha! But in the end there were some helpers having a chicken rice packet from the park (I had half of it =P). Then continued again. This year, I think I'm more responsible or something. I actually took care of them kids this year. Haha! Not like last year. Dump them with another helper and go have fun! HAHAHA! Then yeah, Gareth, a kid from VBS (my favourite child =P), asked me to pull some tubes and all. So yeah, we started a train of tubes of four. Then I saw Han Ern and his kids so yeah, decided to join in. Then we had 10 tubes. So yeah, we kept on adding it (mind you, I was still pulling from the first tube), till we reached, 34 tubes! Filled with children! Imagine, one tube, minimum 2 people. I saw many tubes filled with four to six people! HAHAH! Well, I kinda like, made it easier for the helpers to take care of them kids. Hahaha! All in one place in the same line. And yeah, I enjoyed doing it, pulling the "train of floats". Then after that, 3.30pm, we washed up and all. And yeah, this year again, we, the male helpers, had our own brotherhood session again. Haha! So yeah, we had videos and pictures (I won't put it up here =P). It was fun. Then after washing up, it rained heavily. Then long story short, everyone went home savely and we all had fun =). Some pictures during the trip:

24th of November 2006

Alright, last day of VBS. For almost all the Youth helpers, they were like, FINALLY! I'm like, noooooooo... Because I really miss them kids. Anyways, so yeah, we went for our stations and all. Then yeah, finally, on this day, we had our second Praise session, by the Praise and Worship team instead of the CD. So yeah, last day have fun on guitar and yeah, I had fun =P. Hahaha! So did the kids. Yeah, overall, sad day =(. I miss them. Here are some pictures on the last day of VBS:

Oh yeah! Finally, I got back my internet connection. More errands to be done! Woohoo!! Now I have the passion to design again. I'm tired. Four days ago it was all about the VBS! I had fun! Then last night was Hillsong United's concert. It was a blast! Will update blog on those events soon.

Twisted Day

Yes people, very twisted day. Went to school today. Oh my goodness, school's BORING! Anyways, went to school today just to take report card. But guess what, the teacher said that she doesn't have everybody's report card, so she'll be giving it on MONDAY! OUCH! What the heck! That's so ANTI-CLIMAX!!! Thought of skipping the last day of school (come on, people already played water today - sign of last day of school, plus I've tuition on Monday morning. Yes, what the heck? Tuition on a school day. Morning some more! Grrr. How am I gonna go to tuition? Mum's still working some more. Sigh. TWISTED!

One more thing, this is worse, the hostings I got for GY Online!, has an expiring date! Dam, it's next week some more! Oh my goodness, how stupid am I?! Grrr. Anyways, thank GOD I found another host =). Almost the same features just less space. Glory to HIM!

Random:
Don't know why I'm so hot tempered these days. Almost always rebellious. GRRR! GOD have mercy on me. I'm always talking bad about people these days too. I bring anger back to my bed. I'm thinking about renvenging. I started cursing to myself again. Hmmm, these need to stop. Please pray for me guys. Pray for GOD's strength to be upon me.

Hey people! I'm so sorry for not updating my blog. Haha! I've been caught up with series of priorities and duties. And yeah, I'm still carrying out my job in designing the t-shirt for GY Camp 2006 :). I just got the webhosting for GY Online! as well! Means, more stuff to do online. I'm happy about it. I guess this is my secondary talent I give back to GOd. Another talent where I can use to praise HIS name. Let's just hope (and even pray for me) that I won't use any of this talent for the deivl =P. Haha! Well, glory to GOD!

The website will be up estimated ummm, by next two weeks? Not sure yet. And oh yeah, the forums for GY Online! is up! The link is http://www.graceyouth.cjb.net . This is our temporary domain till we get our very own DOMAIN! Woohoo! Oh yeah, I need a sponsor for that. Wait, WE as in the Grace Youth, needs a sponsor for that =). I already saved a lot of money on hostings (5GB hostings!). So yeah, just need I think U$D 10 for a domain =). Well, I hope this is GOD's will. Glory to GOD!

Man, I love rain but then, it's just too much rain. The wet season kinda suck but I kinda like it. Cooling. The worse thing about the wet season is that, the mosquitoes enter your house! GRRR! As I'm typing this post, they're constantly feeing my blood! Grrr, hate them insects. But it's the cycle of life =). Haha! Well, hope the wet season will end soon (I know it won't, just hoping) so that I can go out and play football on a dry pitch! HAHAH!

The VBS Praise and Worship team had a practise just now in the second hall in church (GRACE Assembly Klang). And yeah, I'm the rhythm guitarist this year (I think I said that before). Haha! I've been kicked off my throne as the drummer! Neh, kidding. I love playing the guitar. Very good experience for me! The practise just now was overall satisfying for me. My bandmates did a very good job playing together as a band. Well, not quite a tight band yet. Not to point fingers or anything but the drummer, Jonathan Kok has problem with his timing. I know I'm not perfect in this but his timing is worse than mine! Ouch, not insulting but it's true. Very difficult for the other musicians. That's one thing I learn from this experience but thank GOD I try my best to stick to the tempo. Haha! Well, glory to GOD. Hope VBS will be as exciting as last year!

The Catalyst

The Catalyst - My Christian band. Wait, a Christian band that I'm in =). Haha! I'm the drummer for this band. We have a blog. Click on the link under the Website category at the sidebar. We're currently working on a new song. It's called L.I.F.E. for the GY Camp this year. Hopefully the song gets chosen. We had our practise just now. I practised with them only for an hour because I needed to attend a Bible class first. PRactise was alright. It cleared my mind a lot about some confusions. Will try to keep timing alright, keep it clean and also work on dynamics. HAha! Didn't like the way I was playing today. I suck. Haha! Well, all GLORY to GOD!

Oh yeah, I receieved the underOATH CD from Jeremy already. Kinda awesome :). Haha! But some songs are kinda draggy. They're currently my role models to serve GOD using the music genre, metal, to praise HIS name. The drumming is not bad too. Hope to see more people serving GOD in their own ways, whether you're goth, punk or emo, as long as you're doing it for the LORD, GOD is happy!

I recieved comments on the first beta version. They said it looks like a cockroach(sp?) so yeah, I removed the pointy thing. To do it, I needed to redesign everything all over again because I screwed on the first .PSD file. I Merged Visible everything last night! Stupid me. Grrr.. Anyways, below's the final product. Larry said it was better than the first so yeah, comments still needed. Colours can be altered guys!

Hey guys! Sorry for not updating my blog. So here's my update. Skipped school (again). Nobody cares so I don't care. Anyways, I finished half of the devotional book I boust from MV Doulos. The name is Walking With Bilbo. Written by Sarah Authur (I think, will check later). Yes, surprising isn't it that someone will write a DEVOTIONAL book that has elements from Lord of The Rings and The Hobbit written by J.R.R. Tolkien? Well, for all you people that thought that Lord of the Rings was demonic and from the satan, think again. I won't be using any scriptures to prove that this book is readeble by Christians because, IT IS READABLE! Haha! The scripture: Everything's Permisible but Not All Are Benefitial will not be used in this post. You know why? Because Tolkien himself is a Christian. And he wrote Lord of The Rings not for entertainment only, but to include Christian themes in it. Walking With Bilbo tells its readers what're the themes and messages that Tolkien really wants us to learn from his book. And yes, Sarah Authur also elobarates her points and how to apply it in our lifes. So yeah, go get this book. She also wrote Walking With Frodo too. Haha! Well, to anyone who wants to loan this book, ask me. When I'm done, I'll lend it to you :).

Congratulations to the newly wed, Commander Lim Kwang Yew and Patrina(sp? correct me if I'm wrong :P). Yes, finally, Uncle Toby got married and yeah, I'm happy for him.

Woke up 7 in the morning. Then went to church at 8 for practise for Praise and Worship session for the wedding. Went there, gate closed! Ouch! HAha! Then Adrian Yap came and yeah, he told the guard to open for us and we went in. Then need to wait for Ryan the sound man =P. He came only at 9 something. Only went through the songs once. Well, everything went well. And later at night gonna go for dinner. I'll post some pictures of the bride and bridegroom. Weeeeeee!

Thank God It's Friday =P

Okay, like every other day. Wake up at ten in the morning (automatically). Nothing much to do except to read some books. Haha! Seriously, I do read books :). I finally spoke to Natalie, Dragon Red's bassist! Woohoo! Yeah! Very friendly girl. I spoke to her through MSN Messenger. She rocks though. Very good bassist! And then I went to Sri Andalas CF meeting. Quite alright. They had it in Taman Rakyat at the playground area. Very simple gathering. One thing I learned about this visit is to appreciate what my CF has - some chairs and a nice place to be in during meetings. Not boasting but yeah, as an underground organisation, GOD has really given us them facilities. We can even use our school field! Glory to GOD only! Here are some pictures from today's CF meeting:

Tiring Day

Alright, went for tuition at 2.30pm. After that, I had a football match. Haha! I played Centre Back in the first half then Right Back in the second half. Eventhough my team got thrased 8 - 1, I'm happy to play in the team. Good to see some improvement playing as a team. And the reason we got thrased badly is because our first team keeper wasn't playing for us. We used like our 4th option goallie who plays as a striker I guess. Haha! Well, overall performance for me, I did well. That's my view. Only two freaking mistakes. Thank GOD those mistakes didn't cost the team. Great game. The next match we play, I hope that I'll do better, and we can get a win. And yeah, hope the next match we play will doesn't consist of anger and such. Keep cool Estate Rangers!

After that went for tuition again. Took bath in church. Then after tuition I had a practise in church. I'm playing drums for Commander Kwang Yew's wedding. Jeremy Teo's the song leader. Thank GOD he chose the song Everybody Praise the LORD! Woohoo! Then my best buddy Han Ern is on bass (me wub him). Shaun Xavier is the guitarist. Then Eugene is the pianist. Then we have Brian Chow and U Mae as back up singers. Not sure if there're more back up singers or not. The practise was, not full. Shaun did not come and the bass amplifier wasn't working (again). So it's the drums and the piano only. I got the timing and the beat and hopefully I'll give my best on the even happening this Saturday.

Some Testimony

In this post, I would wanna testify some great things the Lord my GOD had done for me.

Firstly, thank GOD for letting me attend these year's Grace Youth Camp. I was actually considering whether or not to attend this camp this year. Why am I considering whether or not to attend this fun filled camp? Well, one thing is the price they charge us. It's just too expensive. But, I have priorities in camp and yes, I'm loyal to my Youth (=P) so I decided to bug my dad to pay for me. He didn't want me to go too because of the price. Well, God's grace felled upon him (funny! haha!) and he payed the deposit for me. Muahahha! Glory to GOD.

Then I thank GOD for letting me to Emily's youth camp. PCMC Youth! Woohoo! Love that camp. I wasn't allowed to attend the camp. My mum got pissed and scolded me for signing up for this camp. She said something about only can attend my church's camp and stuff. Well, thank GOD that HE soften her heart and thank GOD for this camp. Very awesome camp guys. Keep it up!

Thirdly, I thank GOD for them results I got in my end term examinations. To be honest, I was expecting some bad results. I wasn't that ready to sit for this exam. So far, I got all A's for and 1 B. That's good enough for me already. Still left three more subjects to go. My English teacher said that I did badly in English paper. I got shocked and yeah, I take this as a lesson. It's not the lesson of being too over confident because I wasn't. It's the lesson of answering the questions properly :P. Haha! Well, everything is in the hands of the LORD. So let HIm make the decisions.

Those above are the major events that I would like to thank GOD for. Then there're more minor events too which I can't type them all because it's too many! Well, Glory to GOD =).

What has become of the "future generation/leaders"?

Was chatting with a friend I met through Friendster. She's in Form 1. So I asked her what results she got. And she said, 2 fails. I asked how come she failled her paper, she said don't know how to do. When I adviced her to study, she says that she's lazy. Yes, she said that. And the most shocking thing is that when I told her PMR is in two years time she just said lazy to study. What is happening to the "future generation" of this country? Is the country gonna fall after the current generation gives us authority?

In a newspaper (I forgot, I read this through Teenzone), they labelled Mat Rempits (infamous road criminals, don't like the way I explain MAt Rempit? then tell me how to explain the label) as the future of Malaysia. Oh my goodness, what an insult. They're criminals whether you like or not. They break the rules on the road and off the road. Come on, they murder, they take drugs and other offenses (some of them, came out in the newspaper anyways, I'm describing first impression). Yeah, that's the future of this country, criminals. And those of us who studies and have an ambition, are the future leaders as well, but yeah, if you're in our shoe, and you read that article, would you feel insulted?

And then there's the government helping them MAt Rempits. Oh my goodness, THEY'RE CRIMINALS! ENDANGERING OUR LIVES! The Government said (or maybe someone suggested, tell me if I'm wrong) something about making a track for them to "rempit" all they want. Oh my goodness, why can't the government just catch them and throw them in prison and give them counselling or something? Seriously, they broke the law, and gets help. Others work their ass off and get nothing (refering to them SPM achievers that didn't get scholarship). Hmmmmm, sorry about this rant but it's true.

Well, GOD have mercy on me for saying these things. I'm not in the authority to judge anyone. My bad. And yeah, GOD have mercy on this land.

School sucks

Okay, went to school today for the sake of jamming with my band, The Zucchinis. Did nothing in school. Time passed slowly, yeah, real slow. We were like (bandmates), "What time is it?" "Not even twelve larr". Most of the teachers didn't enter. Got back some marks but yeah, won't tell them here :P. Haha! So yeah, after school went jamming. We went to Rock Flame Studios opposite the Asrama Yayasan. Dam, that place is getting worse everytime we visit it. The only thing that rock there is the added sofa :). Haha! Kavi followed us today because he has nothing to do at home.

Jamming was bad. Not in the mood to jam. Don't think I'll stick with the band (sorry guys). One thing is because I'm not improving in this band and another thing is because, I feel like something is not right in me when I jam with my band. I don't have that enthusiasm anymore. Think GOD is trying to tell me something. Yeah, give HIM all them glory only anyways. Well, time will tell. That's all for today I guess.

Oh yeah, I'm back to exercising. Oh man, finally I went jogging (started two days ago) and yes, legs feeling stronger. Tomorrow I'm having a football match against BFC - Brazil Football Centre. I'm playing for Estate Rangers. Think I'm only going to play for the first half. Not sure yet. Hope GOd gives me the strength to play in this match. Need to prove to people that, I improved :). Haha!
